National Energy Administration: establishment of battery consistency management and traceability system

September 29 news, the National Energy Administration recently issued the "New Energy Storage Project Management Code (interim)" notice, which mentioned that the new power battery echelon utilization energy storage project must follow the concept of full life cycle, establish battery consistency management and traceability system, and obtain safety assessment reports issued by corresponding qualified institutions. The built and newly built power battery cascade energy storage projects must establish an on-line monitoring platform, monitor battery performance parameters in real time, carry out regular maintenance and safety assessment, and make emergency plans.

In order to standardize the management of new energy storage projects, promote the positive, steady, healthy and orderly development of new energy storage, promote the construction of a new power system with new energy as the main body, and support the realization of carbon peak and carbon neutralization goals, we have organized and compiled the "New Energy Storage Project Management Standard (interim)", which is now issued to you. Please implement it conscientiously.
