[national Energy Administration: establishment of Battery Conformance Management and traceability system] Sept. 29, the National Energy Administration recently issued a notice of "New Energy Storage Project Management Code (interim)", which mentioned that the new power battery echelon energy storage project must follow the concept of full life cycle, establish battery consistency management and traceability system, and obtain safety assessment reports issued by corresponding qualified institutions. The built and newly built power battery cascade energy storage projects must establish an on-line monitoring platform, monitor battery performance parameters in real time, carry out regular maintenance and safety assessment, and make emergency plans.

In order to standardize the management of new energy storage projects, promote the positive, steady, healthy and orderly development of new energy storage, promote the construction of a new power system with new energy as the main body, and support the realization of carbon peak and carbon neutralization goals, we have organized and compiled the "New Energy Storage Project Management Standard (interim)", which is now issued to you. Please implement it conscientiously.

Please inform our Bureau (Department of Science and Technology) of the situation and suggestions under implementation.

[SMM Nickel Flash] The SMM average price of 10-12% high-grade NPI fell 17.2 yuan/mtu WoW to 1,035.8 yuan/mtu (ex-factory, tax included), while the Indonesia NPI FOB index average price dropped 2.06 $/mtu WoW to 131.2 $/mtu. At the beginning of the week, futures hit limit-down, and nickel prices fell sharply WoW, driving the emergence of arbitrage supplies sold at low prices, leading to a significant decline in high-grade NPI prices.
