Geely joined hands with Xin Wanda to set up a power battery company with a registered capital of 100 million!

Shandong Geely Xin Wanda Power Battery Co., Ltd. was officially established on September 24, with Ye Zhilin as its legal representative, with a registered capital of 100 million yuan, according to information from the company. The company's business scope includes battery sales; auto parts wholesale; electronics sales; battery manufacturing; information technology consulting services; auto parts research and development; generator and generator set sales; auto parts and accessories manufacturing; generator and generator set manufacturing; motor and its control system research and development.

According to shareholder information, the new company has three major shareholders, namely Zhejiang Jirun Automobile Co., Ltd. (41.50%), Xinwanda Electric car Battery Co., Ltd. (30.00%) and Geely Automobile Group Co., Ltd. (28.50%).

The address of the new company is 88 Ningbo Road, Zhangfan Street, Zaozhuang High-tech Zone, Shandong Province.

Maybe the project comes first. On July 28 this year, Xinwanda announced that the wholly-owned subsidiary Xinwanda car Battery, Geely Group and Zhejiang Geerun will jointly invest in the establishment of a joint venture. The three parties contributed 30 million yuan, 2850 yuan and 41.5 million yuan respectively, with a shareholding ratio of 30%, 28.5% and 41.5%, respectively.

This is basically in line with the newly established company.

On September 10, major projects in Zaozhuang City focused on construction activities held in the high-tech zone, including Geely Xin Wanda power battery project.

The project has a total investment of more than 5 billion yuan and covers an area of about 451mu. After reaching production, it is expected to achieve an annual production capacity of 800000 sets of hybrid batteries, with an annual output value of 6 billion yuan and profits and taxes of 500 million yuan. The project will build 3 BEV and 7 HEV power battery production lines, using the second generation HEV hybrid system with independent intellectual property rights, which can be widely used in Lecker, Geely, Volvo and other models.

It is understood that the project product uses the latest 5.9Ah high-power HEV cell, can meet the minus 35-55 degrees Celsius working environment, module and liquid cooling system integrated structure, with high heat conduction performance.

The production capacity of the joint venture company includes cell, module and battery package production line, which mainly focuses on the production of HEV (including 48V) power battery pack to meet the needs of Zhejiang Geerun, Geely Group and their related parties for a full range of HEV automotive power battery products.

After the completion of mass production of the joint venture company, the first phase peak annual production capacity is not less than 600,000 sets of HEV (including 48V) power battery pack, and the second phase peak annual production capacity is increased to not less than 800000 sets. Zhejiang Jirun will give priority to purchasing HEV (including 48V) power battery packs from the joint venture company, and the purchase quantity is not less than 80% of its demand.
