Shaanxi Titanium Enterprises contribute to the National Games

Published: Sep 18, 2021 14:12

On September 15, the 14th National Games opened in Shaanxi Province. Wang Wensheng, secretary of the party committee and chairman of Baotian Group, participated in the torch relay as the 35th torchbearer at Baoji Station of the National Games. Xi'an Zhuang Xinxin Materials Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Xi'an Zhuangxin"), a health cup pot developed by Xi'an Zhuangxin material Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Xi'an Zhuangxin"), the health cup pot "Pure Titanium Red Man Cup" was "entered" into the National Games as a licensed product.

Shaanxi Province, as a major province of titanium industry in China, enterprises actively participate in the National Games, which not only demonstrates the elegant demeanor of titanium enterprises, but also uses practical actions to help the event be held smoothly.

Since the establishment of the "third line" factory in 1966, Baoti Group has inherited wisdom, culture and spirit, and has made outstanding contributions to hundreds of major projects in countries such as "two bombs and one satellite", 10,000-meter deep submersible vehicle, C919 aircraft, and so on. As an "veteran" enterprise in China's titanium industry, Wang Wensheng well-deserved to participate in the National Games torch relay on behalf of Baoji Chinese Titanium Valley people.

The Northwest Academy is a domestic titanium-related "veteran" scientific research institute and enterprise, which has made outstanding contributions in many high-end fields such as domestic military industry, and its superconducting wire technology and other technologies are in the forefront of the world. As a state-owned enterprise, Xi'an Zhuangxin has formed its own scale system in the research and development of titanium civil living products. The Pure Titanium Red Man Cup can be used as a licensed commodity to enter the 14th National Games, showing the overall R & D strength of the military and civilian integration of the Northwest Academy, and showing the health characteristics of titanium.

Market recovery signals gradually emerge; titanium industry chain may see a phased turning point [SMM Titanium Weekly Review]
[SMM Titanium Weekly Review: Market Recovery Signals Gradually Emerge, Titanium Industry Chain May Usher in a Phased Turning Point] This week, the titanium industry chain showed a divergent operating trend overall. Supply side, titanium concentrates consolidated at lows, imported ore cargoes impacted ports, traders offloaded goods to suppress the market, domestic ore had limited downside room, while titanium slag maintained a weak consolidation, with enterprises mired in losses. Titanium dioxide prices remained stable overall, expectations for the September peak season heated up, but only small-scale restocking for rigid demand occurred, industry inventory pressure persisted, raw material cost support was weak, and the market lacked upward momentum. Titanium sponge continued its pattern in the doldrums, market transactions leaned toward lower prices, upstream and downstream inventories were high, downstream buyers pushed for lower prices significantly, and trading was relatively sluggish. The titanium materials sector showed prominent structural divergence, with weak demand and insufficient operating rates for civilian titanium materials, while orders for high-end titanium materials in aviation and military applications were sufficient and supply was tight. Overall, end-use demand across the entire industry chain has not seen a substantive recovery, with support only in the high-end segment. In the short term, the titanium industry chain is likely to maintain divergent consolidation, with focus on the implementation of enterprise price adjustments and the follow-through of actual order transactions.
