DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsCar InsightSHANGHAI, Aug 31 (SMM) – According to the customs data, China exported a total of 43.05 million mt of steel from January to July 2021, up 30.9% on the year.
In the same period, the steel imports totalled 8.40 million mt, down 15.6% from the same period last year, and the import volume of steel billet was 6.79 million mt, a decrease of 16.7% on the year.
China's net export of crude steel from January to July stood at 29.31 million mt, exceeding the 17.03 million mt in 2020.
