[28 US Democrats hope to set up $85 billion for electric vehicle charging infrastructure] according to foreign media reports, a group of 28 US House Democrats asked congressional leaders to provide 85 billion US dollars to build electric vehicle charging infrastructure. This amount greatly exceeds the amount required by a bill previously submitted to Congress.

A panel of 28 House Democrats asked congressional leaders to provide $85 billion to build an electric vehicle charging infrastructure, according to foreign media reports. This amount greatly exceeds the amount required by a bill previously submitted to Congress.

At present, both parties in the United States are considering a $1 trillion infrastructure bill, of which $7.5 billion will be spent on electric vehicle charging infrastructure, but Democrats plan to add additional funding to another measure, which could cost as much as $3.5 trillion.

The 28 lawmakers, led by Congressmen Debbie Dingell and Yvette Clarke, said in a letter that the increase in funding "will help increase the electricity availability of utilities, thereby enabling rapid recharging, increasing the supply of renewable energy and increasing the resilience of Electroweb in the face of climate change."

In March, US President Joe Biden (Joe Biden) called for a total of $174 billion to be spent on electric vehicles, including $100 billion in consumer stimulus and $15 billion in construction of charging stations. The United States plans to build 500000 new charging stations for electric vehicles.

Lawmakers, including Peter DeFazio, chairman of the House Transport Committee, said: "if a large number of consumers accept zero-emission cars to avoid climate disasters, then it is critical that the federal government invest in the rapid and massive construction of electric vehicle charging infrastructure."

In a summary of the $3.5 trillion bill released on Aug. 9, Senate Democrats plan to allocate funds to electrify federal fleets, including USPS vehicles.

Last week, Biden signed an executive order setting a new target that 50% of new car sales in the United States will come from electric cars by 2030, a move supported by large American car companies. A number of local and foreign car companies have said that billions of dollars will be needed to achieve this goal.
