






According to recent reports, Nickel 28 Capital Corp. The second-quarter operating results report showed that sales of nickel and cobalt, the company's main asset, the Ramu nickel-cobalt integrated business in Papua New Guinea, increased significantly in an environment of rising battery metal prices.
Anthony Milewski, chairman of Nickel 28, said that in an environment of rising nickel and cobalt prices, the Ramu project reached production guidance again in the second quarter and was the best quarter in sales history.
The company produced 7773 tons of nickel in the second quarter, 2% higher than the same period last year and in line with expectations, producing 16578 tons in the first half of the year, compared with 16238 tons in the same period in 2020. Nickel sales in the second quarter were 10975 tons, an increase of 45 per cent over the same period last year.
