PT Ifishdeco Tbk: produced 829000 wet tons of nickel in the first half of the year, meeting this year's target of 41.45%.

It was recently reported that, PT Ifishdeco Tbk (IFSH) recorded 829000 wet tons of nickel in the first half of 2021. That amount is equivalent to 41.45 per cent of the company's nickel production target of 2 million tonnes this year.

Muhammad Ishaq, director of Ifishdeco, revealed that due to heavy rainfall, the company's production performance in the past two months has encountered weather problems.

He said that in the past two months, in June and July, there have been weather problems, especially heavy rain, but if we look at it from August, the rain will begin (reduce), as the number of smelters increases, the outlook for the country's nickel market is very optimistic. To this end, it is also optimistic that this year's production target can be achieved.

IFSH is so optimistic because the weather is expected to be better in the second semester of 2021. This makes Ifishdeco hope to increase nickel production to meet this year's target.
