Chuantu Microelectronics gets another round of financing and is ready to enter the automobile market.

Shanghai Chuantu Microelectronics Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Chuantu Microelectronics") completed round B financing, this round of financing led by Yuanhe Puhua, Jinpu Investment, etc., the old shareholder Panlin Capital, Langma Feng continued to increase. Public Kai information shows that Chuantu Microelectronics was led by Zhonghuijin in 2019, and Panlin Capital, the exclusive investor in the Pre-A round, continued to add tens of millions of yuan to round A financing. It is worth mentioning that at the 2021 annual meeting of China Semiconductor Investment Alliance and the award ceremony of China IC list held at the beginning of this year, Chuantu Microelectronics won the "most potential for growth Award" of the 2021 China IC list.

Hou Peng, deputy general manager and chief marketing officer of Chuantu Microelectronics, told Ji Micro Network that this round of financing will be used for new product research and development. Chuantu Microelectronics will continue to enrich its current product lines and launch car specification-level chips; in addition, it will also be used to strengthen the upstream supply chain, and part of the financing will be used as the construction and operation of Sichuan Tu Microelectronics delivery center.

Relying on three core technologies, five product lines and abundant refined grain, Sichuan soil Microelectronics will enter the automobile market.

Relying on isolation, integration of interface and power technology

Focus on mid-and high-end analog chips

Since its establishment in 2016, Sichuan Earth Microelectronics has focused on the R & D and design of high-end analog chips. At present, the company's business line covers five directions: radio frequency, isolation, interface, high-performance analog, power supply and drive. Up to now, the three core product lines of radio frequency, isolation and interface have become mature and are widely used in industrial control, instrumentation, power supply, household appliances, automotive electronics and other fields.

From the perspective of RF product line, Chuantu Microelectronics currently has RF transceiver (RF Transceiver), power amplifier (PA), low noise amplifier (LNA) and other products. Next year, it will continue to expand to other application fields with the help of perfect IP reserves.

In terms of isolation business, Hou Peng said that this is a major core product line for Sichuan Earth Microelectronics to gain a foothold in the market. Since its establishment in 2016, Sichuan soil Microelectronics has carried out many technical iterations and updates to the isolator. Fully mastered the key technologies and process parameters for large-scale mass production of digital isolation under the standard semiconductor process. By the end of 2021, Chuantu will comprehensively improve its product line around digital isolation, interface isolation, isolation Icord O, isolation amplification, isolation drive, and isolation power supply.

It is worth noting that in the interface business, Sichuan soil Microelectronics launched very recognized interface products in the market this year, including 485 interface, CAN bus interface, AISG interface, some of which have been mass-produced and well received in the market.
