A few days ago, according to the information of Dongfeng Technology Center, Dongfeng Technology Center officially signed a contract with Jiangxi Ganfeng Lithium Power Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Ganfeng Lithium Power").

It is understood that the two sides held talks on solid-state battery demonstration and operation cooperation and signed a demonstration and promotion agreement on solid-state battery E70 models. According to the agreement, Dongfeng Technology Center and Ganfeng Lithium Power will jointly promote the industrialization of solid-state battery technology by relying on the technology accumulation and independent research and development capabilities of Dongfeng Technology Center in the field of new energy, and the good distribution of solid-state battery resources of Ganfeng Lithium Power.

This contract will not only help Dongfeng Company to seize the commanding heights in the field of solid-state battery technology, but also help Dongfeng Fengshen E70 brand to open the market in Jiangxi.

In terms of market environment, with the popularity of new energy vehicles, as a key part of the goal of carbon neutralization, the importance of solid-state battery research and development is self-evident.

In the future, under the background of the new era of "carbon peak and carbon neutralization", Dongfeng Technology Center, on the basis of doing a good job in solid-state battery technical services, will continue to promote solid-state battery research and development, solid-state battery key materials research and development, solid-state battery BMS key technology development, solid-state battery full value chain resource layout, through independent mastery of new power battery core key technologies, to help Dongfeng Company to achieve scientific and technological upgrading at an early date.

Battery-Grade Lithium Sulfide: Will Q4 See a Spike?
Key takeaway upfront: A Q4 spike is unlikely, but we do expect continued moderate growth. Monthly output is likely to settle in the 9–10 tonne range – a modest step-up from Q3, not an explosive leap.

August battery-grade lithium sulfide production analysis: Will Q4 see a surge? [SMM Analysis]
[SMM Analysis: August Battery-Grade Lithium Sulphide Production Analysis: Will Q4 See a Surge?] In August, China's lithium sulphide production was 7.79 mt, up 3.6% MoM and up 143% YoY. Will lithium sulphide production surge in Q4? Based on downstream demand, this is currently relatively unlikely, but a mild volume expansion will continue. Average monthly production is expected to reach the 9-10 mt range, edging up from Q3 rather than jumping explosively.
