SHANGHAI, Jul 22 (SMM) - Jiaozuo Wanfang announced at noon that the water hit the company's northern wall and entered the plant after the heavy rainfall and the flood discharge in Henan, and the entire plant was out of power.

Due to the process requirements of aluminium production, the electrolytic cell must keep operating in 24 hours, and some of the electrolytic cells have been out of power for too long to restart in time. The thermal power plant is less affected by the flood.

The flood caused no casualties in the company.

As of the announcement, the water in the company's plant area has been basically drained, and the production has partially resumed.
