






On June 4, 2021, the new material of Al-mn series aluminum-based alloy developed by Tongling Kangda Aluminum Alloy products Co., Ltd. has been successfully used in aluminum alloy heat dissipation bracket of self-driving system of new energy vehicle. the product was successfully trial-produced in Ningbo Beilun Die Factory by ultra-high pressure extrusion process, indicating that Al-mn series Al-based alloys can completely replace Al-Si series alloys to make structural parts with complex configurations.
In general, for complex structural parts, several die-casting parts and aluminum substrate series are often welded, and their performance indexes are different in different parts of the components, which are easy to cause fracture, poor electrical conductivity and heat transfer performance. the product has high strength and toughness, high thermal conductivity, complex manufacturing process and high cost. The new Al-mn series aluminum-based alloy material developed by Tongling Kangda Aluminum Alloy products Co., Ltd. has also improved the weight reduction and thinning structure of the product under the condition of ultra-high pressure extrusion process. through the strength performance test of complex structural parts corresponding to different sizes, the product not only meets the overall mechanical properties, but also one-time forming, which greatly reduces the production cost and improves the production efficiency.
The successful research and development of the new material of Al-mn series aluminum-based alloy has completely got rid of the dependence of complex aluminum products on Al-Si series alloy. Especially for complex structural components that need to be brazed, the overall strength, toughness and thermal conductivity of the products are very balanced, which breaks through the technical bottleneck of poor comprehensive properties of aluminum alloy materials in the domestic electric vehicle industry, and significantly improves the lightweight level of domestic electric vehicles, which is not only in line with the national policy guidance of energy saving and environmental protection, but also realizes the industrialization of aluminum alloy materials with high strength, toughness and thermal conductivity, but also promotes the development of upstream and downstream industrial chains. It promotes the technical progress in the application of aluminum alloy materials in the electric vehicle industry.
