Social inventories of lead ingots shrank 1,500 mt over weekend

Social inventories of lead ingots across Shanghai, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Tianjin fell 1,500 mt from last Friday April 23 to 66,700 mt as of Monday April 26, an SMM survey showed. This was down 8,400 mt from last Monday April 19.

SHANGHAI, Apr 26 (SMM) – Social inventories of lead ingots across Shanghai, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Tianjin fell 1,500 mt from last Friday April 23 to 66,700 mt as of Monday April 26, an SMM survey showed. This was down 8,400 mt from last Monday April 19.

Lead social inventories extended declines as smelters in Anhui and Jiangxi have not fully recovered from environmental inspections and some smelters in Henan started maintenance.

Social inventories are likely to fall slower next week as environmental restrictions ease and smelters in Anhui complete maintenance.\

Zijin Mining 2025 Report: Zinc Output Down, Smelting Up, Bisha and Wulagen Mines Plan Increased Production

Zijin Mining released its 2025 annual report.
