Shanghai bonded refined nickel stocks fell 300 mt on week

Inventories of refined nickel in the Shanghai bonded areas decreased 300 mt from a week ago and stood at 10,000 mt as of April 9, showed SMM data.

SHANGHAI, Apr 9 (SMM) – Inventories of refined nickel in the Shanghai bonded areas decreased 300 mt from a week ago and stood at 10,000 mt as of April 9, showed SMM data.

Russian nickel imports were less than the previous period, while nickel briquettes in the bonded area continued to flow into China. South African nickel plates entered China directly after customs clearance, while LME nickel briquettes flowed into Shanghai bonded warehouse in small quantities. Shanghai bonded refined nickel stocks decreased for the sixth consecutive week.
