Operating rates at lead-acid battery makers remained unchanged on week

Operating rates across lead-acid battery producers in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Hubei and Hebei provinces remained unchanged from the previous week at 78.34% as of Friday March 19.

SHANGHAI, Mar 19 (SMM) – Operating rates across lead-acid battery producers in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Hubei and Hebei provinces remained unchanged from the previous week at 78.34% as of Friday March 19.

Lead-acid battery makers have kept stable production since the beginning of March. Operating rates at e-bike battery and automotive battery makers, especially medium and large-scale producers, were mostly above 80%, while that at energy storage battery and communication battery makers are likely to remain stable in the short term due to a low season.
