At 8: 00 EDT in Indonesia on March 15, with the order of "start feeding" issued by Zhang Baodong, general manager of HPAL site and general manager of Liqin obi project, 10 dump trucks loaded with high-quality nickel ore drove slowly to No. 3 feeding port of HPAL raw material workshop, and then a truck of nickel ore poured down. Two cylinder washing machines, four trough scrubbers and two ball mills participating in the test run roared together. After multiple processes such as feeding, washing, classification and grinding, the first batch of limonite pulp was successfully trial-produced.

The feeding ceremony was simple and grand, presided over by Shi Wentang, deputy general manager of HPAL Company. Relevant leaders and employee representatives of owner HPAL Company, construction company Baoye Company, design unit Enfei Company and supervision unit Sadie Company attended the ceremony. He Hengguang, project manager of Baoye, Chen Zai, project manager of Sadie, and Pak Rico, the top leader of HPAL India, successively delivered speeches and made speeches. Finally, Zhang Baodong, general manager of Liqin obi project and general manager of HPAL site, made an ebullient and inspiring speech.

General Manager Zhang said that the HPAL project on Indonesia's obi Island took two years to build, and we not only have to overcome the difficulties faced by overseas construction in material procurement, personnel organization, design and construction, but also to overcome the rare global epidemic in a century and the extreme challenges brought about by the long rainy season on obi Island. Despite the difficulties, the long-awaited limonite ore pulping has finally been realized today! This is not only the result of the joint efforts and concerted efforts of all our construction staff, but also the result of the support and help of the leaders of Liqin Group, General Manager Cai, General Jiang and India Khalida Group. In the process of construction, we have received strong support from the leaders of relevant units such as Shanghai Baoye, China Enfei, MCC Sadie and TBP. Our efforts have not been in vain and the results are hard to come by. On behalf of all the management on the site, I would like to sincerely thank every leader and staff who care about, support and participate in the construction of the project! At the same time, we must clearly realize that limonite pulping is only the first step in the trial production of the project, and there is still a lot of work to be done, which will be more difficult and demanding. I hope that everyone will guard against arrogance and rashness, recognize tasks clearly, organize conscientiously, pay attention to details, strictly implement various systems and regulations, carefully organize production and commissioning, ensure the safety of personnel and equipment, and continue to smoothly achieve the overall goal of trial production with materials at the end of April this year in the spirit of "excellence and endless diligence".
