SHANGHAI, Feb 24 (SMM)—This is a roundup of post-CNY update on aluminium processors.

Summary                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Aluminium processors restarted production from February 18-21, but those in south China will not return to normal production until March.
Orders for industrial aluminium extrusion, plate, strip and foil were strong, while that for aluminium wire, cable and construction extrusion were tepid.
The rapid increase in aluminium prices after the holiday exceeded expectations of aluminium processors, and they have different views on future price movement.
Shortages of aluminium scrap are likely to boost secondary aluminium prices in the near term.
