On February 22, Galaxy was officially informed by Xin Wanda that its subsidiary Xinwanda Electric vehicle has received a letter of notification from Dongfeng Automobile Group Co., Ltd. Passenger car Company (hereinafter referred to as "Dongfeng passenger car") about the selection of a designated supplier of E70 power battery parts to supply its E70 with power battery assembly products.

According to Genglian hui, Dongfeng passenger car E70 sold only 4713 vehicles in 2020, down 68.52 percent from 14972 in 2019. This means that if the E70 does not launch a new model in 2021, it will even be difficult to maintain sales in 2020, that is, Xinwanda's supporting project may not be a big boost to its business growth.

But it should be noted that this is another new cooperation after Xin Wanda received the Dongfeng Liuqi power exchange project and the lithium iron phosphate Lingzhi CM5EV battery package. Although from this fixed-point information announcement, it is difficult to tell whether Xin Wanda is supplying ternary lithium or lithium iron phosphate batteries, it can be seen from the close cooperation between the two sides in recent years. Xinwanda is gradually becoming an important partner of Dongfeng motor power battery, and next, more projects between the two sides may emerge one after another.
