From 0 to 24:00 on February 2, 25 new confirmed cases were reported in 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang production and Construction Corps, including 10 imported cases (4 in Shanghai, 2 in Guangdong, 2 in Sichuan, 1 in Jiangsu and 1 in Shaanxi). 15 local cases (8 in Jilin, 6 in Heilongjiang and 1 in Hebei); there were no new deaths and 1 new suspected case was imported from abroad (in Shanghai).

On the same day, 91 new cases were cured and discharged from hospital, 1675 close contacts were relieved from medical observation, and 6 severe cases were reduced compared with the previous day.

There are 312 confirmed cases (including 5 severe cases) and 1 suspected case imported from abroad. A total of 4745 cases were confirmed, 4433 cases were cured and discharged, and there were no deaths.

31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang production and Construction Corps reported 12 new asymptomatic infections (7 imported from abroad), 10 confirmed cases on the same day (2 imported from abroad), 45 released from medical observation on the same day (13 imported from abroad), and 829 asymptomatic infections under medical observation (279 imported from abroad).

A total of 11473 confirmed cases have been reported from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Among them, 10511 cases were discharged from the Hong Kong Special Administrative region (9549 cases were discharged, 184cases died), 47 cases were discharged from the Macao Special Administrative region (46 cases were discharged), and 915 cases were discharged from Taiwan (832 cases were discharged, 8 cases died).
