The green level of China's economic structure has been significantly improved in recent years. From 2016 to 2018, China’s steel and coal industries reduced and eliminated backward production capacity by 150 million mt and 810 million mt respectively, both of which achieved the target in the 13th five-year plan of eliminating production capacity ahead of schedule, according to China’s Ministry of Ecology and Environment.
