SMM12, March 11:, Palladium One Mining recently released a report that its Tyko Ni-Cu-PGE project in Ontario, Canada, has successfully discovered drilling in the first two boreholes of the 2020 drilling project. A large number of magmatic sulphide drilling intercepts 4 meters and 2 meters wide were found on the mine's Yanhu airborne electromagnetic targets at a true depth of less than 30 meters, the announcement said.
At the same time, the strong magnetic bull's-eye related to the soil anomaly is determined based on the magnetic measurement of the UAV, which represents the surface expression of the EM anomaly. According to Palladium One, initial drilling and new Mag and EM surveys indicate a shallow submerged massive sulphide in the southwest and a tilt to the west-northwest.
Derek Weilaugh (Derrick Weyrauch), the company's president and chief executive, said it was the first time large chunks of sulphide had appeared in the Tyko project. In view of the fact that the nickel content produced by the sulphides scattered in other areas of the project is more than 1%, we have high expectations for the new area and eagerly await the test results.
It is reported that Tyko is an early, high-vulcanization, nickel-focused project, located about 65 kilometers northeast of Marathon Town in the heart of the Canadian Shield. The most recent drilling intercept of the mine returned 1.06% nickel at 6.22m, including 4.71% nickel above 0.87m in hole TK-16-010.
