Us rebar exports increased by 4.1% in July

SMM9, June 21: according to export data from the U.S. Department of Commerce, by July 2020, the total export volume of rebar in the United States was 18063 tons, an increase of 4.1 percent over June and 14.8 percent over July 2019. In value terms, rebar exports totaled US $12 million in July, compared with US $11.4 million last month and US $11.6 million in the same period last year.

The United States exported the most rebar to Canada, at 14778 tons in July, 11625 tons in June and 11682 metric tons in July 2019. Other major destinations include the Dominican Republic, with a total of 1411 metric tons. The United States had no other major rebar export destinations (1000 tons or more) in July.
