SMM News: I. National General Public Budget Revenue and Expenditure

(1) General public budget revenue.

From January to August, the national general public budget revenue totaled 12.6768 trillion yuan, down 7.5 percent from the same period last year. Of this total, the central general public budget revenue was 5.9259 trillion yuan, down 10.1% from the same period last year, while the local general public budget revenue was 6.7509 trillion yuan, down 5.1% from the same period last year. National tax revenue was 10.8236 trillion yuan, down 7.6 percent from the same period last year, while non-tax income was 1.8532 trillion yuan, down 7 percent from the same period last year.

The main tax revenue items are as follows:

1. Domestic value-added tax was 3.8086 trillion yuan, down 15.2% from the same period last year.

two。 The domestic consumption tax was 982.2 billion yuan, down 5.7% from the same period last year.

3. The enterprise income tax was 2.9382 trillion yuan, down 5.3% from the same period last year.

4. The personal income tax was 764 billion yuan, an increase of 5.9% over the same period last year.

5. Value-added tax and consumption tax on imported goods totaled 955.2 billion yuan, down 11.5% from the same period last year. The tariff was 165.3 billion yuan, down 12.8% from the same period last year.

6. The export tax rebate totaled 1.0021 trillion yuan, down 13.9 percent from the same period last year.

7. The urban maintenance and construction tax totaled 304.6 billion yuan, down 9.2% from the same period last year.

8. The vehicle purchase tax was 220.2 billion yuan, down 7.9% from the same period last year.

9. Stamp duty totaled 227.1 billion yuan, an increase of 27.6 percent over the same period last year. Of this total, stamp duty on securities transactions totaled 142.7 billion yuan, an increase of 48.6 percent over the same period last year.

10. The resource tax was 114.6 billion yuan, down 9.5% from the same period last year.

11. Among the taxes related to land and real estate, the deed tax was 440.3 billion yuan, up 4.2% from the same period last year; the land value-added tax was 429.3 billion yuan, down 4.3% from the same period last year; the property tax was 172 billion yuan, down 5.7% from the same period last year; the cultivated land occupation tax was 86.7 billion yuan, down 7.3% from the same period last year; and the urban land use tax was 131.5 billion yuan, down 6.7% from the same period last year.

13. Vehicle and ship tax, ship ton tax, tobacco tax and other tax revenues totaled 70.6 billion yuan, an increase of 3.4 percent over the same period last year.

(2) the expenditure of the general public budget.

From January to August, the country's general public budget expenditure totaled 14.9925 trillion yuan, down 2.1 percent from the same period last year. Of this total, the central general public budget expenditure was 2.1276 trillion yuan, down 4.1% from the same period last year, while the local general public budget expenditure was 12.8649 trillion yuan, down 1.7% from the same period last year.

The main expenditure items are as follows:

1. Spending on education totaled 2.1466 trillion yuan, down 2.3 percent from the same period last year.

two。 Expenditure on science and technology was 469.6 billion yuan, down 7% from the same period last year.

3. Spending on culture, tourism, sports and media totaled 210.4 billion yuan, down 4.3 percent from the same period last year.

4. Expenditure on social security and employment totaled 2.3193 trillion yuan, an increase of 10.9 percent over the same period last year.

5. Expenditure on health and health was 1.2494 trillion yuan, an increase of 5.4% over the same period last year.

6. Expenditure on energy conservation and environmental protection was 342.1 billion yuan, down 11.1% from the same period last year.

7. The expenditure of urban and rural communities was 1.218 trillion yuan, down 24.6% from the same period last year.

8. Expenditure on agriculture, forestry and water was 1.3407 trillion yuan, an increase of 2.7% over the same period last year.

9. Expenditure on transportation was 740.2 billion yuan, down 12% from the same period last year.

10. Interest payments on debt totaled 653.7 billion yuan, an increase of 13.6 percent over the same period last year.

II. Budget revenue and expenditure of national government funds

(1) the budgetary revenue of government funds.

From January to August, the budget revenue of national government funds totaled 4.703 trillion yuan, an increase of 2.3 percent over the same period last year. According to the central and local governments, the budgetary income of the central government fund was 234.3 billion yuan, down 16.7% from the same period last year; the budgetary income of the local government fund was 4.4687 trillion yuan, an increase of 3.5% over the same period last year, of which the income from the transfer of state-owned land use rights was 4.2017 trillion yuan, an increase of 9% over the same period last year.

(2) the budgetary expenditure of government funds.

From January to August, the national government fund budget expenditure totaled 6.3889 trillion yuan, an increase of 21.1% over the same period last year. According to the central and local governments, the budget expenditure of the central government fund is 151.6 billion yuan, down 6.2% from the same period last year; the budget-related expenditure of the local government fund is 6.2373 trillion yuan, an increase of 22% over the same period last year, of which 3.8947 trillion yuan is related to the income from the transfer of state-owned land use rights, down 12.7% from the same period last year.
