SHANGHAI, Sep 18 (SMM) – Social inventories of silicon metal in China were stable this week as stocks at Huangpu port and Tianjin port held largely unchanged.
SMM data showed that stocks across Huangpu port, Kunming city and Tianjin port stood at 64,000 mt as of Friday September 18, unchanged from a week ago.
Stocks in Yunnan Kunming are likely to increase next week as silicon plants increased shipments to the city as they worried that tightened coronavirus-induced restrictions would affect future shipments.
