Silicon social inventories rose 1,000 on week as arrivals at Tianjin port increased

Social inventories of silicon metal in China edged higher this week as arrivals at Tianjin port increased after coronavirus-induced lockdowns in Xinjiang were removed.

SHANGHAI, Sep 11 (SMM) – Social inventories of silicon metal in China edged higher this week as arrivals at Tianjin port increased after coronavirus-induced lockdowns in Xinjiang were removed.


SMM data showed that stocks across Huangpu port, Kunming city and Tianjin port stood at 64,000 mt as of Friday September 11, 1,000 mt higher from a week ago.


Stocks in Yunnan Kunming and Huangpu port were stable this week.
