SMM Network: it is reported that at about 9: 10 on September 8, the flue gas desulfurization fan of Xiangfen Hongyuan Coking Co., Ltd. suddenly stopped abnormally. Two workers at the scene were injured due to the bursting of the flue in the course of inspection and died after emergency treatment.

At present, Xiangfen County has set up an accident investigation team, hired experts to go to the scene to investigate the causes, safely disposed of coke ovens and chemical production areas, and organized relevant enterprises to hold emergency warning education meetings. An investigation into the accident has begun.

It is understood that Hongyuan Coal Coke Chemical Co., Ltd., Xiangfen County, Shanxi Province, was established on July 20, 2001. It is located in Jiazhu Village, an ancient town in Xiangfen County. The legal representative is Li Chunjian, with a registered capital of 124 million yuan. The scope of business includes production and sales: Coke, tar, methanol and other products. Hongyuan Coal Coke Chemical Co., Ltd., Xiangfen County, Shanxi Province, invested 6 companies abroad.

The enterprises involved were punished many times in three years and entered the top 100 private enterprises in Shanxi for two consecutive years, and their revenue increased by 91% last year!

It is understood that Xiangfen Hongyuan Coking Co., Ltd. has received many administrative penalties in the past two years.

On November 28, 2018, the enterprise was fined a total of 80,000 yuan by the Shanxi Provincial Administration of production Safety for illegal use and maintenance of safety equipment. On the same day, the enterprise violated the provisions of paragraph 1 and paragraph 2 of Article 33 of the production Safety Law of the people's Republic of China, and the Shanxi Provincial Emergency Management Department ordered it to make corrections within a time limit and fined 100000 yuan. On January 16, 2020, the enterprise was fined 100000 yuan by Xiangfen County Market Supervision Administration for its registration certificate. In 2018, the enterprise was punished several times by Xiangfen County Environmental Protection Bureau for illegally discharging air pollutants.

In terms of operating conditions, Xiangfen Hongyuan Coking Co., Ltd. chose not to publish the annual report. However, Xiangfen Hongyuan Coking Co., Ltd. ranks 70th among the top 2018 private enterprises in Shanxi, with annual revenue of 1.36 billion. Xiangfen Hongyuan Coking Co., Ltd. ranked 56th in the "Top 2019 Private Enterprises of Shanxi Province" report sponsored by the Shanxi Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce in September last year, with annual revenue of nearly 2.6 billion yuan, an increase of 91 percent over the previous year.

In the last year, Linfen Ecological Environment Bureau and Xiangfen County Market Supervision Administration conducted four spot checks on Xiangfen Hongyuan Coking Co., Ltd. no problems were found in the random inspection of the quality of dangerous chemicals, enterprise standards and Linfen Ecological Environment Bureau.
