SHANGHAI, Sep 3 (SMM) – Inventories of aluminium billet in China increased this week due to increased arrivals.
SMM data showed that aluminium billet stocks across the five major consumption areas — Foshan, Wuxi, Huzhou, Changzhou and Nanchang — in China built up 4,000 mt from a week ago to 60,200 mt as of Thursday September 3.
Inventories in Wuxi, Changzhou, Huzhou and Nanchang accumulated week on week, while stocks in Foshan declined, with Nanchang rose the most.
