






SHANGHAI, Aug 31 (SMM) — Customs data showed that China imported 21,200 mt of intermediate products of nickel hydro-metallurgy in July, falling 21% or 5,600 mt down from June and dropping 45% from a year earlier.
Intermediate products of nickel hydro-metallurgy imports decreased in July as Papua New Guinea's imports fell 18,700 mt in July, down 81.6% from the previous month, while Australia, Singapore, Finland and Cuba all imported intermediate products of nickel hydro-metallurgy in July.
Inventories of intermediate products of nickel hydro-metallurgy are sufficient at present, and there is no shortage of raw materials for nickel sulfate intermediate products, according to the SMM survey.
