SMM8, March 20: recently, Blackstone (Blackstone Group) has discovered another nickel mine in the Viper discovery area (The Viper Discovery Zone), 200m east of the Ban Chang exploration area, in the Ta Khoa nickel-copper project in Vietnam.

On-site inspection and shallow trench exploration found that a buried Gosang Mountain contains oxidized sulphide ore, and the buoy has a maximum grade of 0.8% nickel and 0.5% copper.

VDZ (The Viper Discovery Zone) is a blind discovery, which indicates further blind discovery of the entire Ta Khoa Ni-Cu-PGE area and shows the potential of the project to accommodate more undiscovered nickel sulphide mineralization.

Scott Williamson, general manager of Blackstone, said that in addition to potential blind discoveries, we also have 25 massive sulphide targets related to surface outcrop mineralization, and with our team, we can also generate other blind discoveries unknown to previous operators of the project. Viper's discovery further confirms the company's aggressive exploration strategy, as the company has established a potential ore source pipeline for its sealed Ban Phuc.

Blackstone is currently exploring a range of targets within the Ta Khoa project area, ranging from drilling testing by teams that highlight discoveries such as Viper to regional exploration, as well as priority resource targets, such as the discovery of Ban Phuc and King Cobra near the plant. Viper's discovery comes directly from the developing Ban Chang exploration area, and recent drilling has returned a series of high-grade nickel.
