SMM: according to data from the online inquiry platform of the General Administration of Customs, China imported about 1.59 million tons of copper ore and its concentrates in June, down 5.8 percent from the previous month; an increase of 8.9 percent over the same period last year.
Chile remains China's largest supplier of copper ore and its concentrates, with exports to China of 621962 tons, up 3 per cent from a month earlier and down 0.6 per cent from a year earlier.
