According to the statistics bureau, the output of excavators in China was 33970 in June 2020, an increase of 75.2% over the same period last year. From January to June, the output of excavators was 187379, an increase of 22.4% over the same period last year.

The General Office of the State Council recently issued the "guiding opinions on comprehensively promoting the renovation of Old Urban Residential areas," requiring that the renovation of old urban residential areas be promoted in an all-round way in accordance with the decision-making arrangements of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council. The "opinion" stresses that great efforts should be made to transform and upgrade old urban residential areas, and 39000 old urban residential areas will be renovated in 2020, involving nearly 7 million households. The "opinion" clearly defines the task of transforming the old urban residential areas, focusing on the transformation of the old urban residential areas built before the end of 2000. The "opinion" calls for the establishment of a reasonable mechanism for sharing funds between the government, residents and social forces.

1. Torrential rains hit around the Bohai Sea.

From 08:00 to 08:00 on July 22, moderate to heavy rain occurred in southern North China, Huang-Huai, western Jianghan, southeastern Northwest, eastern Southwest, southwestern Yunnan and southeastern Tibet. There was heavy rain or torrential rain in central and southern Shandong, east-central Henan, northern Jiangsu, northern Anhui and northeastern Sichuan.
