Huadi smelter invests 6.5 trillion rupiah to add 6 new nickel-iron furnaces

SMM7 March 15: according to recent Indonesian media reports, the management of, PT Huadi (Wadi) Nickel Alloy Company has successfully established two smelters since 2012. The management of, PT Huadi Nickel Alloy Company has invested 6.5 trillion rupiah again, and six more furnaces have been added since 2020.

The Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Arifen Tasrif (Arifin Tasrif), accepted Professor HM Nurdin Abdullah, Governor of South Sulawesi Province, and said that he fully supported the steps taken by Wadi to invest in the development of the mining industry.

According to Emile (Amir), investment in additional factories will begin at the beginning of 2020. "four more stoves have been added this year," he explained. Next year, we will add two stoves, thus adding six stoves. Later, Wadi will have eight stoves. "

PT Huadi nickel alloy director Jos Stefan Hidecky said that in the Papan Loe village of Bantaeng Pajukkukang district, the construction of four nickel furnaces is in progress. "an agreement has been reached with PLN in April 2021," he explained. If eight stoves have been installed, Wadi will produce 200000 metric tons per year from the 50000 tons produced by the two stoves.

In the presence of ESDM Minister Arifin Tasrif, Professor HM Nurdin Abdullah, Governor of South Sulawesi Province, explained that investors would continue to be encouraged to invest in South Sulawesi Province. He said that the form of encouragement from the provincial government of South Sulawesi is conducive to licensing and provides support in all forms of investment-related policies.
