Australia launches the first sunset review of anti-dumping investigation of steel bars against China

SMM Network: July 10, 2020, the Australian Anti-dumping Committee issued notice No. 2020 / 074, in response to the application submitted by the Australian company InfraBuild (Newcastle) PtyLtd, to launch the first anti-dumping sunset review investigation on steel bar (SteelReinforcingBar) imported from China. The products involved do not include ordinary round rods, stainless steel and steel mesh. The products of this survey do not include smooth steel bar, stainless steel and steel mesh. The dumping investigation period of this case is from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020. The Australian customs codes of the products involved are 7213.10.00.42, 7214.20.00.47, 7227.90.10.69, 7227.90.90.01, 7227.90.90.02, 7227.90.90.04, 7228.30.10.70, 7228.30.90.40 and 7228.60.10.72.

Stakeholders should submit relevant materials by August 16, 2020.

On July 1, 2015, Australia launched an anti-dumping investigation into steel bars imported from China. On April 13, 2016, Australia made a final anti-dumping ruling on products imported from China.
