Aluminium billet inventories fell in China on greater shipments in the east

Inventories in Wuxi, Changzhou and Nanchang fell week on week, while stocks in Foshan and Huzhou accumulated, with Foshan saw a bigger rebound.

SHANGHAI, Jul 9 (SMM) – Inventories of aluminium billet in China declined this week due to a rise in shipments from warehouses in east China. 


SMM data showed that stocks of 6063 aluminium billet across the five major consumption areas – Foshan, Wuxi, Huzhou, Changzhou and Nanchang – in China edged down 900 mt from a week ago to 72,300 mt as of Thursday July 9, after a build of 6,900 mt in the previous week.


Inventories in Wuxi, Changzhou and Nanchang fell week on week, while stocks in Foshan and Huzhou accumulated, with Foshan saw a bigger rebound.

China and Laos Signed an MOU on the Oudomxay AI Green Power Aluminum Project Together
Vientiane recently marked a major milestone in China-Laos green industrial cooperation—Krittaphong Group Co., Ltd. and CGN Energy Technology (Laos) Co., Ltd., together with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Laos and Oudomxay Province, officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the Oudomxay AI Green Electricity Eco-Aluminum Industrial Park Project. By region, the total registered volume was Shanghai (4,055 mt, down 211 mt), Guangdong (18,312 mt, down 119 mt), Jiangsu (6,043 mt, down 269 mt), Zhejiang (16,379 mt, down 510 mt), Chongqing (4,053 mt, increase 0 mt), and Sichuan (1,477 mt, increase 0 mt).
