SMM News: Wei Shuanshi, chairman of Baotou Steel (Group) Co., Ltd., led the Baogang inspection team to Huawei Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Huawei") in Shenzhen, and discussed business cooperation with du Min, president of Huawei's global manufacturing business department, and Guo Zhijun, general manager of Huawei's digital government business department in Inner Mongolia Autonomous region. The leaders of Baotou Steel Information Service Center and Tielong Investment Company accompanied the inspection.

In particular, the rare earth plate of Baotou Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. ranks the "leader" of the industry and has great influence in the international and domestic rare earth market.

Guo Zhijun said that in recent years, the intelligent manufacturing and digital transformation of the iron and steel industry is in full swing. Some enterprises rely on new technologies such as big data and cloud computing to promote their successful transformation, showing a new format of two main industries and two parallel rounds. At present, Huawei has a layout in the construction of data center in Inner Mongolia. With the rapid development of 5G technology and the further popularization of online social shopping, entertainment and game education, data traffic will increase significantly. Huawei will provide service support and technical support for many industries in the future. In the future, Huawei will further expand its industrial layout in Inner Mongolia and is willing to carry out in-depth cooperation with Baotou Steel in the future.
