SMM: due to the needs of operation and business development, Beijing Zhongke Sanhuan Hi-Tech Co., Ltd. plans to raise no more than 720 million yuan by placing shares to the original shareholders, after deducting the issuing expenses, for the construction of the investment project, of which, the new construction and technical renovation project of Ningbo Koningda base plans to use 390 million yuan, and the new project of Ganzhou base of the third ring road of China Science and Technology plans to use 330 million yuan. Specifically used for:

After the completion of the high-performance rare earth permanent magnet material expansion and transformation project of Ningbo Ke Ningda Industrial Co., Ltd., it can form an additional annual production capacity of 1575.00 tons of sintered NdFeB magnet alloy blanks (which can be processed into qualified finished products).

After the completion of the high-performance rare earth permanent magnet material expansion and transformation project of Ningbo Koningda Hefeng New Materials Co., Ltd., it can form an additional annual production capacity of 1687.50 tons of sintered NdFeB magnet alloy blanks (which can be processed into qualified finished products).

After the completion of the magnetic material machining project of Ningbo Corningda Xinfeng Precision Manufacturing Co., Ltd., it can increase the machining capacity of 2088.00 tons of sintered NdFeB magnets per year.

After the implementation of the magnetic material electroplating park project of Ningkening Darifeng Magnetic Materials Co., Ltd., it can form a high-performance rare earth permanent magnet electroplating surface treatment capacity of 2088.00 tons / year.

After the completion of the new project of Zhongke Sanhuan Ganzhou Base, it can produce 5000.00 tons of sintered NdFeB blanks of various specifications annually, and finally form an annual production capacity of 3200.00 tons of sintered NdFeB magnets.

Zhongke Sanhuan said that NdFeB magnet is the third generation rare earth permanent magnet, which has the advantages of high magnetic energy product, coercivity and high energy density, and has been widely used in modern industry and electronic technology. At present, there are two production processes of NdFeB magnet materials-sintered NdFeB and bonded NdFeB. Bonded NdFeB is magnetic and corrosion resistant in all directions, while sintered NdFeB is generally divided into axial magnetization and radial magnetization, which has a wide range of applications, but it is easy to corrosion and needs surface treatment.

China is the largest producer of NdFeB magnetic materials, accounting for more than 90% of the world's production capacity, of which sintered NdFeB magnets account for more than 90% of NdFeB magnetic materials. As NdFeB magnetic products have the characteristics of high magnetism, light and thin, energy saving and environmental protection, they will be more and more widely used in various fields in the future, and the market development prospect is promising.

At present, the company has four manufacturers of sintered NdFeB permanent magnets-Ningbo Corningda Industrial Co., Ltd., Tianjin Sanhuan Lexi New Materials Co., Ltd., Sanhuan Wakehua (Beijing) Magnetic Devices Co., Ltd. And Zhaoqing Sanhuan Jingyue Magnetic material Co., Ltd., the total design capacity is 18000 tons. For a long time in the future, the supporting role of high-performance rare earth permanent magnet materials in the field of high and new technology, the transformation of traditional industries and low-carbon economic industries will become more and more important. It is becoming the key and foundation to support China's economic transformation and great-leap-forward development.

In order to meet the development needs of the rare earth permanent magnet market, the construction of this fund-raising investment project will optimize the company's product structure and strengthen the product development and manufacturing capacity of high-performance rare earth permanent magnet materials. and enhance the production capacity of high-performance sintered NdFeB permanent magnets.

[SMM Chromium Flash] Eastplats' Q2 Chrome Concentrate Output Falls 24.5% YoY on Lower Processing Tonnages
Eastern Platinum Limited (TSX: ELR; JSE: EPS) reported chrome concentrate production of 14,921 mt at its Crocodile River Mine (CRM) in the second quarter of 2026, down 24.5% from 19,768 mt in the second quarter of 2025, with average chrome grade broadly stable at 40.38% versus 40.74% a year earlier. Interim CEO Charlie Liu said the quarter was challenging, as monthly run-of-mine processing tonnages at CRM came in lower than targeted, and said the company will continue to focus on operational efficiencies to improve PGM and chrome production. Revenue for the quarter fell 25.8% to $7.9 million from $10.7 million in the prior-year period, driven by reduced sales volumes of both platinum-group metals and chrome concentrates. Net loss attributable to equity shareholders widened to $6.1 million, or $0.03 per share, from $1.8 million in the second quarter of 2025. Mine operating income swung to a loss of $4.2 million from a profit of $0.36 million a year earlier, with gross margin falling to -53% from 3%. For the six months ended June 30, 2026, revenue declined 14.8% to $21.7 million from $25.5 million in the same period of 2025, while mine operating loss narrowed slightly to $3.6 million from $4.3 million, aided by a marginal improvement in gross margin to -16.4% from -16.9%. CRM, on the western limb of South Africa's Bushveld Complex near Brits, produces PGM and chrome concentrates as co-products from ore mined at the Zandfontein underground section. The majority of Eastplats' revenue, approximately 78% in the second quarter and 80% year-to-date, comes from PGM concentrate sales to Impala Platinum under existing offtake agreements, with chrome concentrate sales making up the remainder. The company did not disclose a specific breakdown of revenue attributable to chrome concentrate sales alone within the reported figures.

[SMM Chromium Flash] NRZ Commissions Refurbished Wagons Under $2.8m Zimasco Rail Partnership
Zimbabwe's National Railways of Zimbabwe (NRZ) has increased its operational capacity following the refurbishment of 100 high-sided wagons and three locomotives under a US$2.8 million public-private partnership with ferrochrome producer Zimasco. The refurbished rolling stock was commissioned in Harare on Thursday by Transport Minister Felix Mhona. Mhona described the partnership as an innovative financing model that revives idle railway assets without placing an immediate burden on the Treasury, while securing a reliable export route for Zimasco's chrome through the ports of Beira and Maputo. "This partnership exemplifies a win-win financial engineering model. By funding the overhaul of idle wagons in exchange for freight charge offsets, Zimasco has secured a reliable supply chain route to international markets," Mhona said, adding that NRZ had expanded its operational capacity without an immediate fiscal burden on the Treasury. The minister described rail as the cheapest and safest mode of moving bulk cargo, saying the investment would help ease logistics bottlenecks, protect rehabilitated roads from damage caused by heavy trucks, and improve the competitiveness of Zimbabwean chrome exports. He urged other mining companies to adopt similar partnership models, noting that government, working with the Mutapa Investment Fund, is pursuing larger rail recapitalisation projects, including track and signalling upgrades and new locomotives through Afreximbank. Separately, Mhona said US$10 million had been secured for the Chicualacuala-Plumtree and Machipanda-Harare railway lines through tripartite cooperation involving Zimbabwe, Mozambique and Botswana, and that cooperation with South Africa on the North-South Corridor had also been revived.
