[Xinjiang Zijin Nonferrous 100000 tons / year Zinc smelting Project roaster ignited successfully] 11:00 on June 30th, Xinjiang Zijin Nonferrous Metals Co., Ltd. designed by China Enfei Engineering and Technology Co., Ltd., Xinjiang Zijin Nonferrous Metals Co., Ltd., 100000 tons / year zinc smelting project roaster ignition is a complete success, which marks the project officially opened the prelude to commissioning.

SMM: at 11:00 on June 30th, Xinjiang Zijin Nonferrous Metals Co., Ltd., designed by China Enfei Engineering and Technology Co., Ltd., successfully ignited the roaster of the 100000 ton / year zinc smelting project, which marked the prelude to the formal commissioning of the project.

The project started construction at the beginning of 2019, adopting the international mainstream and mature roasting-leaching-clean liquid-large plate zinc stripping production process, and selecting international advanced equipment, in which 4 sets of cathode and anode automatic driving in the electrolysis workshop are supplied by the company. it has the characteristics of automation, information, high level of intelligence, friendly environment and up to the discharge standard, reaching the advanced level of the same industry at home and abroad.

In the process of project design and construction, the project team and the owner work together to overcome the unfavorable factors such as remote traffic and inconvenient personnel communication. Especially during the most severe period of epidemic prevention and control this year, the company's project team made use of a variety of communication methods, and when the designers were unable to rush to the site, they still solved the problems in the construction on time, quality and quantity. Give full play to the company's technical and engineering service advantages, escort the project construction, and ensure the smooth progress of the project in accordance with the schedule.

The project, located in Wuqia County, Xinjiang, at the westernmost end of China, is the first zinc smelting project in Xinjiang Autonomous region. The completion of the project is of great economic and social significance, and has laid a solid foundation for the company to open up the regional market.

Coherent launched PhotonLink, an integrated optics platform for AI infrastructure incorporating Indium Phosphide (InP) lasers, silicon photonics, detectors and optical modules. The company disclosed more than 10 CPO engagements, over 10 NPO engagements and more than five chip-to-chip connectivity projects, with anchor customers and long-term agreements secured for both CPO and NPO. Revenue is expected to begin ramping in Q4 2026. Coherent has shipped over 300 million InP lasers and is expanding its 6-inch InP manufacturing capacity to support the ramp. The customer pipeline provides a clearer commercial demand signal for InP devices and upstream materials, although additional capacity and indium consumption were not disclosed.

Nine Mile’s Second Rig Arrives at Tribag–West Wedge to Test Seven Electromagnetic Targets
Nine Mile Metals announced that its second rig had arrived at Tribag–West Wedge in New Brunswick, Canada, with drilling expected to begin at Tribag in the coming days. Seven modelled electromagnetic targets are associated with the Tribag lead-zinc and West Wedge copper-lead-zinc occurrences. Wedge drilling continues in parallel. By September 21, the company had completed 18 holes totaling 4,934.50 metres of its 10,000-metre annual program. The conductors remain geophysical targets requiring drilling to establish their source.

Masivo Silver reported assays from CC-26-001, its first hole at Cerro Colorado in Sonora, Mexico. The hole intersected 32.50 metres from 226.30 to 258.80 metres averaging 0.271% zinc, 0.141% lead and 7.0 g/t silver. Technical difficulties ended drilling at 259.5 metres while the hole remained within mineralized rock.
