SHANGHAI, Jun 24 (SMM) – Social inventories of silicon metal in China held roughly flat this week on the back of stable shipments and arrivals at warehouses during the three trading days ahead of the Dragon Boat Festival holiday.
SMM data showed that the stocks of silicon metal across Huangpu port, Kunming city and Tianjin port stood at 46,000 mt as of June 24, unchanged from a week ago.
Inventory at ports may start to pile up from mid-July, SMM assessed based on current orders at traders.
