Primary aluminium inventories fell 46,000 mt over the weekend

Social inventories of primary aluminium ingots in China continued to trend lower over the weekend, propelled by stable demand and limited arrivals at some hubs.

SHANGHAI, Jun 8 (SMM) – Social inventories of primary aluminium ingots in China continued to trend lower over the weekend, propelled by stable demand and limited arrivals at some hubs.

SMM data showed that social inventories of primary aluminium ingots across eight consumption areas in China, including SHFE warrants, decreased 46,000 mt from last Thursday June 4 to 801,000 mt as of Monday June 8.

Details:

Wuxi, Jiangsu – 296,000 mt

Shanghai – 119,000 mt

Nanhai, Guangdong – 161,000 mt

Gongyi, Henan – 46,000 mt

Hangzhou, Zhejiang – 106,000 mt

Tianjin – 57,000 mt

Linyi, Shandong – 9,000 mt

Chongqing –7,000 mt
