Harum Energy invests 338 billion rupiah in Australian Nickel Mining Co., Ltd.

SMM News: recently, PT Harum Energy Tbk (HRUM) invested in the nickel business of Australian Nickel Mining Co., Ltd., which bought 68.53 million shares of Australian Nickel Mining Co., Ltd., equivalent to 3.22% of its total share capital.

HRUM spent 34.26 million Australian dollars (338 billion rupiah), according to information disclosed by the Indonesian Stock Exchange, and the deal took place on May 29th.

In calculating the purchase value, HRUM bought it at US $0.50 per share, while Nickel Australia was trading at A $0.54 per share on the Australian Stock Exchange.

Australian Nickel Mining Co., Ltd., headquartered in New South Wales, Australia, has 60 per cent ownership in the Hengjaya Nickel and Ranger Nickel projects. Both companies operate a rotary kiln electric furnace (RKEF) plant in Indonesia's Morowali Industrial Park to produce nickel pig iron. When it opened to investors in May last year, Nickel Mines said it would increase ownership until it reached 80 per cent.
