Ningbo Xusheng Auto to kick off construction of 10 million units/year auto part base in July

Shanghai-listed Ningbo Xusheng Auto Technology plans to invest 1.92 billion yuan into the construction of an intelligent automation production plant, designed with an annualised capacity of 10 million light-weight aluminium alloy auto parts, the company said on May 22.

SHANGHAI, May 25 (SMM) – Shanghai-listed Ningbo Xusheng Auto Technology plans to invest 1.92 billion yuan into the construction of an intelligent automation production plant, designed with an annualised capacity of 10 million light-weight aluminium alloy auto parts, the company said on May 22.

The project, adapting to the development of new energy vehicles and lightweight market, will be equipped with automatic production lines for die casting, extrusion, and machining. Process technologies such as smelting, die casting, extrusion and machining will be adopted.

Construction of the project is slated to begin in July, with completion expected in June 2023.

[SMM Express] SHFE data showed that on April 7, the total registered cast aluminum alloy warrants stood at 31,183 mt, a decrease of 453 mt from the previous trading day.
