National Health Commission: there were no new confirmed cases and 28 new asymptomatic infections yesterday.

From 0pm to 24:00 on May 22, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang production and Construction Corps reported no new confirmed cases, no new deaths, and 2 new suspected cases, including 1 imported case (in Shanghai) and 1 local case (in Jilin).

SMM Network: from 0 to 24:00 on May 22, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang production and Construction Corps reported no new confirmed cases, no new deaths, and 2 new suspected cases, including 1 imported case (in Shanghai) and 1 local case (in Jilin).

On the same day, there were 3 new cured and discharged cases, 252 close contacts relieved of medical observation, and 1 more severe case.

There are 41 confirmed cases (including 2 severe cases) and 5 suspected cases imported from abroad. A total of 1711 cases were confirmed, 1670 cases were cured and discharged, and there were no deaths.

As of 24:00 on 22 May, according to reports from 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the Xinjiang production and Construction Corps, there were 79 confirmed cases (including 9 severe cases), a total of 78258 cured and discharged cases, and a cumulative death of 4634 cases. a total of 82971 confirmed cases and 6 suspected cases have been reported. A total of 741696 close contacts were tracked and 5085 were still under medical observation.

28 new asymptomatic infections were reported in 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang production and Construction Corps (2 imported from abroad); no confirmed cases were transferred on the same day; 23 cases were relieved from medical observation on the same day (2 imported from abroad); 370 asymptomatic infections were still under medical observation (26 imported from abroad).

A total of 1551 confirmed cases have been reported from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Among them, 1065 cases were discharged from the Hong Kong Special Administrative region (1029 cases were discharged and 4 died), 45 cases were discharged from the Macao Special Administrative region (45 cases were discharged) and 441 cases were discharged from Taiwan (408 cases were discharged and 7 cases died).

[SMM Tungsten Express] The U.S. International Development Finance Corporation is considering financing the Severniy Katpar tungsten project in Kazakhstan. One of the world's largest undeveloped tungsten deposits, it holds over 10% of global reserves and is a JV between Cove Kaz Capital and Kazakh state miner Tau-Ken Samruk.
