Silicon social inventories edged higher amid thin trades

Inventories of silicon metal across Huangpu port, Kunming city and Tianjin port edged up 1,000 mt from a week ago to 53,000 mt as of April 24, showed SMM data.

SHANGHAI, Apr 26 (SMM) – Inventories of silicon metal across Huangpu port, Kunming city and Tianjin port edged up 1,000 mt from a week ago to 53,000 mt as of April 24, showed SMM data.

Increased supply and muted trades drove up inventories in Kunming, while almost no arrivals kept stocks at Huangpu port lower on the week.
