SHANGHAI, Apr 23 (SMM) – Henan Zhongfu Industrial’s aluminium smelting and hydropower project in southwest China’s Sichuan province is expected to see the potline 2 come online in June and full capacity reach 250,000 mt per annum, according to the company’s 2019 report released on Tuesday.

The first potline, with aluminium ingot or molten aluminium capacity of 125,000 mt/year, was put into operation in November 2019.

The project, operated by Zhongfu’s subsidiary Linfeng Aluminum, replaced the old smelter in Linzhou of central China’s Henan province.
