Primary aluminium inventories fell 41,000 mt over the holiday-extended weekend

SMM data showed that stocks across eight consumption areas in China, including SHFE warrants, decreased 41,000 mt from last Thursday April 2 to 1.635 million mt as of Tuesday April 7.

SHANGHAI, Apr 7 (SMM) – Social inventories of primary aluminium ingots declined sharply over the holiday-extended weekend, as demand improved.

SMM data showed that stocks across eight consumption areas in China, including SHFE warrants, decreased 41,000 mt from last Thursday April 2 to 1.635 million mt as of Tuesday April 7.

Details:

Wuxi, Jiangsu – 660,000 mt

Shanghai – 171,000 mt

Nanhai, Guangdong – 403,000 mt

Gongyi, Henan – 174,000 mt

Hangzhou, Zhejiang – 144,000 mt

Tianjin – 57,000 mt

Linyi, Shandong – 11,000 mt

Chongqing –15,000 mt

SMM data showed that social inventories of refined zinc ingots across Shanghai, Tianjin, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shandong and Hebei decreased 12,100 mt in the week ended June 25 to 116,500 mt. The stocks fell 6,400 mt from Monday June 21.
