Nickel ore inventories at Chinese ports extended decline by 270,000 wmt

Nickel ore inventories across all Chinese ports decreased 270,000 wmt in the week ended April 3 to 9.98 million wmt, compared to a decline of 400,000 wmt in the previous week, showed SMM data.

SHANGHAI, Apr 3 (SMM) – Nickel ore inventories across all Chinese ports decreased 270,000 wmt in the week ended April 3 to 9.98 million wmt, compared to a decline of 400,000 wmt in the previous week, showed SMM data.


In metal content, the stocks fell 2,500 mt this week to 82,900 mt.


SMM data also showed that nickel ore stocks across seven major Chinese ports shrank 118,000 wmt to 8.25 million wmt.
