SMM April 1: SMM aluminum alloy ADC12 price

13000-13300

ADC12 Price Daily Review:

[poor order ADC12 and original aluminum price difference slowly repaired] A00 aluminum price rose 40 yuan / ton today, rising 50 yuan / ton for the second day in a row, and remained relatively stable. Due to the scrap aluminum holder's willingness to ship is still low, waste aluminum transaction prices rose slightly today, recycled aluminum enterprise costs continue to rise. On the other hand, due to weak demand, particularly with regard to export business, there was still an increase in the actual bargaining space due to the sharp decline in orders in April. Today, the cash quotation center of gravity of large recycled aluminum enterprises has moved slightly down to 13300 yuan / ton, while the cash quotation center of small and medium-sized enterprises has moved slightly down to 12900 million yuan / ton. Due to poor demand, the actual transaction has about 100 yuan / ton bargaining space compared with the quoted price. The price difference between ADC12 and raw aluminum continues to narrow, but at present recycled aluminum enterprises can still continue to use A00 aluminum to hedge costs. It is important to note that as the impact of the overseas epidemic continues to expand and export demand is poor, export companies are concerned about export orders in April, and domestic sales prices have also been reduced to a certain extent. In terms of imported aluminum alloy ingots, the overseas quotation rate is relatively small at present. The price of ADC12 CIF in Ningbo is maintained at US $1450 / ton. At present, there is no willingness to import aluminum alloy ingots in China, and the stock of aluminum alloy ingots imported into Hong Kong has been greatly reduced after one month of consumption. Considering the significant increase in the price of waste aluminum, the price of SMM ADC12 remained at 13850 yuan / ton today.

Fed to Keep Large Banks' Capital Levels Unchanged, Postpones Stress Test Reforms Until 2027
The US Fed has announced that it will maintain the capital levels of large banks unchanged during the upcoming stress test cycle (corresponding to the 2026 cycle). At the same time, the US Fed is planning multidimensional reforms to this annual test, aiming to enhance its transparency. The US Fed's Vice Chair for Supervision, Bowman, revealed that adjustments to the stress capital buffer requirements for large banks will be postponed until 2027. This move is intended to provide the US Fed with sufficient time to evaluate potential flaws that may be exposed in its testing models when assessing banks' financial conditions under simulated economic downturn scenarios.
