Primary lead smelters operating rates rose to 50.1% as Yunnan Zhenxing recovered

Operating rates across primary lead smelters in Henan, Hunan and Yunnan provinces averaged 50.1% in the week ended March 13, up 0.7 percentage point from the prior week, showed an SMM survey.

SHANGHAI, Mar 13 (SMM) – Operating rates across primary lead smelters in Henan, Hunan and Yunnan provinces averaged 50.1% in the week ended March 13, up 0.7 percentage point from the prior week, showed an SMM survey.

The operating rates in Henan and Hunan remained unchanged at 61.6% and 42%, respectively, while the rate in Yunnan increased 3.7 percentage points to 32.1% as Zhenxing smelter recovered to normal.
