SHANGHAI, Mar 13 (SMM) – Social inventories of copper cathode in south China’s Guangdong province posted their first weekly decline as of March 13 after the coronavirus impact on demand drove up stocks since the Chinese New Year holiday.
SMM data showed that social inventories of copper cathode at four major warehouses in Guangdong stood at 110,500 mt as of March 13, down 5,800 mt from Friday March 6. The stocks expanded 13,600 mt in the week ended March 6.
