Copper cathode inventories in Guangdong extended rises on week

SMM data showed that social inventories of copper cathode at public warehouses in Guangdong expanded a significant 13,600 mt from last Friday February 28 to 116,360 mt as of March 6.

SHANGHAI, Mar 6 (SMM) – Social inventories of copper cathode in south China’s Guangdong province accelerated their increases in the week ended March 6, according to SMM survey.

SMM data showed that social inventories of copper cathode at public warehouses in Guangdong expanded a significant 13,600 mt from last Friday February 28 to 116,360 mt as of March 6.

This followed the stocks climbed 5,500 mt in the week ended February 28, showed SMM data.
