SHANGHAI, Feb 21 (SMM) – Inventories of zinc ingot across Shanghai-bonded areas edged up this week, as operations at the port recovered somewhat.

SMM data showed that Shanghai bonded zinc stocks increased 100 mt in the week ended February 21 to 73,000 mt, after a decline of 1,500 mt in the previous week.

Transport capacity constraints and manpower shortages, however were still affecting cargo deliveries to and from ports. There were some outbound shipments of zinc ingots this week, due to losses.
